Smoke-Free Environment
At Beth Israel Deaconess–Milton, we promote a smoke-free atmosphere for the health and safety of our patients and staff.
We prohibit smoking and the use of tobacco products by patients, staff and visitors.
Smoking is not allowed inside the hospital or anywhere on hospital property, including in our buildings and parking deck, as well as on our grounds and in our parking lots.
We don’t allow:
- Smoking cigarettes
- Use of tobacco products
- E-cigarettes (vapes)
- Medical marijuana
Patients who smoke may not leave their hospital room to go outside and smoke.
Quit Smoking
If you’re a smoker and you want to quit, please tell your doctor or nurse. We can help connect you to a smoking cessation program.
