No one expects to make a trip to the emergency department- but if you or your loved one are facing a life-threatening illness or injury, professionals in the Emergency Department (ED) at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton are ready to help.
Each year, more than 34,000 people come through our doors. We're here for all of you, always. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We provide high-level emergency services for conditions such as heart attack, stroke and uncontrolled bleeding. We also know the healing power of compassion and tend to you and your family in body and spirit.
At BID Milton, you'll receive expert care from board-certified emergency medicine doctors, highly trained nurses and experienced physician assistants. We also have a large network of medical specialists we can call in at a moment's notice.
Case Management Services
We're committed to making your ED visit and discharge as easy on you as possible, which is why we will always provide you with a case manager. Case Managers are registered nurses who make sure you'll have the care you need when you leave the hospital. They'll work with you, your family members and your health care team. They'll even involve your insurance provider and health care providers in the community.
