Urgent Care

Get timely, convenient care for sudden health concerns

Beth Israel Lahey Health Urgent Care–Quincy

Life rarely goes according to plan. Sometimes illnesses and injuries pop up out of nowhere — and at the most inconvenient times. If your doctor's office is closed or you can't get an appointment as quickly as you need it, you might think the emergency department (ED) is your only option. But it isn't always. With urgent care, you've got options.

Walk-In Care for Non-Life-Threatening Medical Conditions

Urgent care addresses medical conditions that aren't life-threatening but require treatment right way. It's convenient and close to home. And it can often save you time and money compared to an ED visit. No appointment or referral is necessary. You may receive walk-in urgent care or reserve your spot and get in line from home, using our online tool below. We see patients two years of age and older.

When you're dealing with an emergency — like chest pain, stroke symptoms or uncontrolled bleeding — it's crucial to call 911 or get to the nearest ED. You'll need the high-level, comprehensive care you find at a hospital.

If you're not sure whether urgent care is right for you, please call us to learn more.

Harvard Medical School Providers in a Convenient Location

At Beth Israel Lahey Health Urgent Care–Quincy, you get treatment from doctors who are board certified in emergency medicine. They work shifts in Beth Israel Lahey Health's emergency departments and are faculty members at Harvard Medical School. We have emergency medicine nurses on our team, as well. That means you'll find a level of expertise that's not common in most other urgent care centers.

When you turn to us for urgent care, you'll enjoy the benefits of on-site X-rays and our medical lab. We also have electronic access to many patients' medical records. This helps us make informed decisions about patients’ care. In most cases, we can provide answers to questions about your health and in-house treatment before you head home. When needed, we provide contact information for external specialists.

Reserve a spot at BILH Urgent Care–Quincy.

Please be aware, online reservations are not appointments. We work to see and treat patients as quickly as possible. However, due to the nature of our services, people may have serious conditions that require attention right away. As a result, you may not receive treatment in the order in which you arrive.
