Hand & Upper Extremity
Expert care for a range of hand and upper extremity conditions
Get Treatment for Hand and Wrist Conditions
A hand or upper extremity injury can be painful and slow your life down. At Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton, we specialize in treating a range of hand and wrist conditions. With both surgical and non-surgical treatment options, we offer the care you need.
Occupational & Hand Therapy
As part of our hand and upper extremity program, we have a team of dedicated hand therapists to provide expert care locally at BID Milton, including therapy, custom splints and orthotics.
Surgical Care
In most cases, a hand or upper extremity injury can be treated with medication or physical therapy. In severe cases, surgery may be needed. At BID Milton, our certified plastic orthopedic surgeons provide comprehensive upper extremity care.
We routinely treat conditions ranging from acute trauma to chronic conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.
Non-Surgical Care
Non-surgical care is often the first line of treatment for many conditions. We offer everything from physical or occupational therapy to pain management and ultrasound-guided injections.
If you need surgery, we also provide care during your recovery. We work closely with specialists in our Rehabilitation Center to help you get back to living your life.
