Non-Invasive Cardiac Tests

We are proud to offer the following non-invasive cardiac testing services in a convenient community hospital setting:

Testing services we offer includes:

• Exercise stress test
• Nuclear SPECT stress test
• Echo stress test
• Echocardiography, transthoracic and transesophageal
• ECG and cardiac monitoring services
• PYP nuclear imaging for amyloid detection
• Consultative services
• Implantable loop recorder placement

Electrophysiology Testing Services

Electrophysiology (or “EP”) studies the electric activity of the heart. If you have a condition that affects the electrical system of your heart muscle, you may need to undergo EP testing.

For clinic visits and more specialized EP treatment, we coordinate your care with our partners at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).

Our cardiovascular team provides a range of care services here at BID Milton. We also work closely with the team at BIDMC to coordinate more advanced care when needed, ensuring you have the best strategy for treating your condition and optimizing your outcome.

Cardiac procedures performed in collaboration with our team at BIDMC:

• Cardiac catheterization
• Electrophysiology testing
• Pacemaker
• Implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD)
• Advanced heart failure management
• Heart transplant
• Advanced cardiac imaging – cardiac MRI and PET scan

If you need more advanced procedures, our hospital will coordinate transport to BIDMC — including a helicopter, if necessary.
