Daniel Siao, MD, Named Chief Medical Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton

Milton, MA – Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton (BID Milton) is pleased to announce that Chi Chang Daniel “Danny” Siao, MD, has assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Siao has served as interim CMO since April and has been affiliated with BID Milton for the past 15 years.

“Dr. Siao is a highly skilled leader who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality care to patients,” said Rich Fernandez, president of BID Milton. “His clinical expertise coupled with his dedication to improving patient care will ensure his ability to drive progress and positively impact the BID Milton community.”

Siao has held many leadership roles at the hospital, most recently serving as the President of the Medical Staff, Director of the Hospitalist Program, Chair of the Utilization Management Committee, Co-chair of the DEI Committee, and is a Physician Advisor. He is also a Harvard Medical Faculty Physician.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be named Chief Medical Officer,” said Siao. “Healthcare is changing and bringing new challenges. I am constantly looking for opportunities to contribute. I hope to affect positive change at BID Milton with the support of my colleagues.”

Siao attended medical school at King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, India and completed his residency in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey.
